You asked about Disneyland on July 6th, and what to do, if you have done WDW before...
Well, here is the list I would try and do were I in your situation, but was aware of all that I know of the Parks:
Stay at the Disneyland Pacific Hotell. This gets you a good Hotell, Monorail Close, and Early Entry. Early Entry is good. Very good.
Head to Tomorrowland. Ride Space Mountian. Maby it will be in Stero by the time you arrive. Probably not though. See American Journies at Circlevission, it will be gone soon. Also see Captian Eo, for the last time (Audiance is on it's way). Ride the Submarine Voyage. Maby it is hokey, but at least it is still running (Unlike 20k at WDW).
Hop on the Left side of the Matterhorn on your way to Alice. From there, stop in at Toad Hall, then Peter Pan. Make a left, and pass the Carosell, and board a Storybook Boat, into the mouth of the Whale. Leaving Storybook Land, head on back to Small World. Upon exiting Small World, check for next Pocahauntus Show. Soon? Hours Away? If Soon, wait in line, and see the show, if Hours away, go on back to Toon Town. Ride Roger Rabbit. Depending on if ya want to burn time, poke around, opening doors, boxes, etc, or just head back out and hop the Train to the Fronteerland/New Orleans Square station.
Hop on the Mantion, then exit it right into the line for Splash. Exiting Splash, walk back to Pirates, and check it out. Next, head on arround to Thunder, and give that a whirl. Ok, now for a rest. Head over to the Indy line, and wait an hour or four. As you exit Indy, jump on the Jungle Cruise. Having fun yet?
Head on out to Main Street, and watch a Parade. Lion King runs twice daily. Stand on the right if ya want to risk being squirted by the elephant. You might want to watch Linclon over on Main Street at some point, also take in the origional Tiki Birds show. If you do so, grab a Dole Whip. They are good! (Also welcome refreshment as you pass the Tiki Room when you are in the Indy Line.)
It sould be early evening now. What have you missed? Let's see: in Fantasyland there is: Dubmo, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Snow White, The Tea Cups, the Sleeping Beauty walkthrough, Pinochio, and the Carosell; in Toon Town there is: Gadget's Go-Coaster, and a visit with Mickey (If you didn't do that allready); in Tomorrowland: Autopia, Star Tours, Rocket Jets, and the Monorail (Also Wonders of China circlevission, but they have that at EPCOT in China); in Fronteerland the Golden Horseshoe (You needed to get reservations! Too bad I forgot to mention it this morning around 10:00. Sorry!), and the Mark Twain. Also the Columbia, if she's running (Do the Columbia if you get a chance!); in Critter Country there were those Country Bears, and maby the Canoes, also that raft to Tom Sawyer's Island; and on Main Street there were those cars, busses, and the hores drawn carrige. Do whatever of those which strike your fancy, in whatever order you desire, but under no cirmstances should you miss the last showing of Fantasmic!
First, though there will be Fireworks, and of course this is the last year for the Main Street Electrical Parade... at about 8:30pm, go to the Hub. (This is the Circular area at the end of Main Street, Has a Walt & Mickey "Partners" statue in the middle) and try to find an place with a good view of both the "street" area, and the sky above the castle, and you will have an excelent viewing spot for the Parade as well as the fireworks, just don't let alot of tall folks crowd in front of you. :) [BTW Warning: I may be there. I often show up on Saturday Nights for Fireworks, and then some Dinner, then I catch whichever band is playing in Tomorrowland for awhile, if I had to work that day. If you see a Tall Skiny guy, wearing a shirt with a little Mickey on it, with Glasses, and shaggy hair, that may be me. Go on and ask, If it's me, I won't mind, and if it's not, E-Mail me and let me know who the imposter was.]
When it is time for Fantasmic! Head over to the bridge in front of the Pirates, and try and score a spot for the show. You will need at least one "Sacrificail Volunter", who will have to wait as the next-to-the-last show ends, thus inadverntntly viewing the Finali, then move in AT ONCE to secure your "Spot". The rest of the party should join you as soon as possible, which may take a while, as most traffic is heading the other way.
If you have any questions, from a guy who hits the park whenever he can think of an excuse, just give me a holler! (I am there about once a month in Winter, and 2-3 times a week in the Summer [Mostly for Food & Fireworks] and actually go on the rides about once a month, all year 'round, so I have A LOT of experiance!)
