The below is what I have, as a framework for the rest of the story. It starts out relativly detailed from where I left off for the conclusin of Chapter 4.
What will likely be chapters 5 through 6 or even 8 (If the growth of MoM has shown me anything) is sketchier, but provides an outline for the intended direction of the story.
Please be aware that I will not nesicarily follow this plot, should I resume writing. The overall structure and plot of the story was designed back in '96 to lay the opening foundation for a larger series of stories Winc wanted to write. That ain't gonna happen anymore. Being as the greater framework is no longer needed, I can actually write a conclusive ending. And so I shall, assuming I ever resume writing this. Remember, it has languished for almost 8 years at this point. That is a long time. A really long time.
Dana Short, June 2004
Dana talks to Shelly over breakfast. Shelly makes note of more oddities.
Dana tries to access IRC using the only computer in the house – old 386 with Windows
95 (3.11?) in the basement, but AOL 2 does not support IP. She has to upgrade, but slow
1200 baud internal modem takes forever.
Dana goes to town/store while AOL downloading (WHY?). Shelly stays behind.
AOL finishes, and SHELLY logs on under her old account. Checks email. Gets scared. Logs
back off.
Dana returns from town.
Dana logs on to AOL. Tries to find Malisa.
Dana sleeps.
Shelly figures out Dana’s secret. Shelly IRCs Malisa. Fix promised in hours.
Helicopters and sirens outside.
Dana and Shelly flee in Fiero.
Dana and Shelly loose persuit in Anaheim. Go to Disneyland. (Best place to hide - in a
crowd.)
Dana is fixed. Looses Shelly in confusion of trying to change to proper clothes. ;)
Suits in Disneyland.
Dana finds police by Fiero in parking structure. Claims amnesia. Gets interrogated, cops
decide to drop charges(?) against Dana (male). Hunt for Dana (female) and Shelly
continues.
Dana is sad, he misses Shelly.
Young (20ish) woman shows up at (Work? Disneyland?Cabin?). Speaks like Shelly. Dana likes
her. She admits she IS Shelly and they ride off into sunset on Harley(?)[Singing Boorn to
beee wiiild…?].
